Emars Mining & Construction Pvt Ltd.

Down on the ground floor of BD-78 in Salt Lake City, that is where we operate Emars Mining & Construction Pvt Ltd. It is right there in Sector-1, which is a pretty busy part of Kolkata if you know the area. We do a mix of things related to mining and construction projects, though a lot of the actual heavy work happens far away from the office. Here in the city, we mostly handle the logistics, the permits, and the planning side of things. It can get pretty hectic with all the files and the constant ringing of the phones. We aren't a huge multinational, just a private limited firm trying to make things work in the construction sector. Some of us have been in this industry for years, so we’ve seen how much things change. Salt Lake is a good spot for us to be located because it’s easy for people to reach. The office itself is pretty simple—desks, chairs, and a lot of maps and blueprints laying around. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in paper, but that is just part of the job when you deal with mining regulations and building codes. We spend our days coordinating with teams out in the field and making sure supplies get where they need to go. It is regular work, and we just keep at it day after day. No fancy slogans here, just people doing their jobs in a small office in Kolkata.
