Being on such a major road in the Kolkata area means it’s always busy outside our windows. The traffic never really stops. Our office is a practical space where we handle the administrative and casting-related work for the company. It’s not a showroom; it’s where the actual planning happens. We have a lot of files and old ledgers around, and the fans are usually humming away to keep the humidity at bay. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the neighborhood inside out. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but it’s part of the charm of being in this part of West Bengal. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures laying around. We just have our workstations and a small area for visitors to sit while they wait. The building itself is an older one, which fits the general feel of the area. We just get on with our jobs, whether it's dealing with paperwork or talking to the factory teams. It’s a local operation at its heart, despite being part of a larger name. We value the routine and the familiar faces we see every day.
