Drowsy Fashions

We are located in Dutta Para, right near the Sporting Club. If you know the area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. Drowsy Fashions isn't a name that suggests we’re sleeping on the job, even if it sounds a bit funny. We’re actually usually pretty busy with the machines running and the steam from the irons. The club nearby always has something going on, so there’s a lot of local energy around our building. Our space is filled with rolls of fabric and boxes ready for delivery. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a big order to finish by the end of the week. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area with magazines. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working at a table. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. The people who work here live nearby, so it’s a real neighborhood operation. We don’t use those big glossy catalogs. Most of the time, we’re just showing people what’s currently on the racks or what we just finished sewing. The lighting in the shop isn't great, but it’s enough to see the stitches and the colors. We deal with all sorts of garments. Some days we're making shirts, other days it's something else entirely. It depends on what the local shops need from us. We’ve been in Dutta Para for years, and we don’t plan on going anywhere else anytime soon.
