Debasis Das & Co.

Debasis Das & Co. is situated in the village of Media, right near the Shani Mandir. We are part of the Swarupnagar police station area in the North 24 Parganas district. It’s a very rural setting, surrounded by fields and small houses. Our office is basically a small building attached to the side of a house. It’s quiet out here, except for the occasional sound of a tractor or the bells from the temple nearby. We handle a lot of local business, mostly helping people with their paperwork or providing supplies they might need. Since we are in a village, everyone knows everyone else, so we don't need to do any advertising. People just walk over when they need something. We have a small porch where we sit and talk to neighbors who pass by. The inside of our workspace is very basic. A couple of desks, a bench for people to sit on, and a few shelves. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the windows open to catch the breeze, even if it brings in some bugs in the evening. Life moves a bit slower here compared to the city, and we are perfectly happy with that. We work when there is work to do and take breaks when things are slow. It’s a simple way to live and run a business without much fuss.
