Our office is situated at J-6, Navadarsha Birati in Kolkata. It’s a quiet corner in West Bengal, 700051. De Ltd has been operating from this residential-style area for some time now. It’s not in the middle of a big business park, which is nice because it’s a bit more relaxed. We have our desks set up and we go through the daily chores. The walk from the main road isn't too long. In the rainy season, the streets around Birati can get a bit muddy, but we're used to that. We just focus on the work at hand without a lot of fuss. There are a few trees nearby that give some shade. It’s a simple setup where we handle our business affairs. We don’t have a big reception desk or people in suits walking around. Usually, it’s just a few of us making sure everything is running the way it should. We do our own filing and answer our own calls. It’s a modest place but it works for what we need. People in the locality know us as the De Ltd office. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall down the lane and talk about the upcoming tasks. It’s a slow and steady pace here. We like that we are away from the noisy center of Kolkata. It helps us stay focused on the details. There isn't anything fancy about our daily routine, just consistent work that gets finished.
