Das Construction(I) Enterprise

We are located at 69/1 S.K. Deb Road in Kolkata. Our office is in Block-B/1, Flat-18. It is one of those typical Kolkata residential areas where businesses and homes are all mixed together. The flat isn't very big, so we have had to be clever about how we fit the desks and the storage for all our construction plans. Being in Kolkata means dealing with the rain during monsoon and the narrow streets that sometimes get flooded. We have been working out of this flat for a good while. It’s a simple setup. There are no elevators, so walking up to the office keeps us moving. We aren't some massive enterprise with a hundred branches. We are just a local construction outfit. Most of our time is spent out at sites anyway, so the office is just where we come back to do the billing and the planning. It’s often a bit noisy with the neighbors and the street life right outside the window. We like it that way, though. It feels real. We just do our work, talk to the contractors, and try to keep everything on schedule. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we work through it one flat at a time.
