Crossroad Logistics is based out of Noapara in West Bengal. Our address is Ps Noapara Bangla, and it’s a bit different from the big city offices in Kolkata. Out here, things move at a slightly different pace, though the logistics business never really stops. We are a part of the Om Group, but on the ground here, it’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. The office is practical and built for the job. We have trucks coming in and out of the general area quite often. The weather can get really hot in the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long. It’s a simple building without any extra decorations. We focus on the loads and the drivers. Most of the people working here are from the local area around Noapara. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands, which helps when things get complicated. We don't use a lot of big words or have long meetings. Usually, it’s just a quick chat over some tea to decide who is doing what. The office is filled with the smell of old paper and sometimes the dust from the road. It’s a real place for real work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just make sure the logistics are handled so the goods get to where they are going. It’s a steady rhythm here in Noapara and we like it that way.
