Bhardwaj Beverage

Bhardwaj Beverage is tucked away in Apurba Nagar, over in the Sodepur area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same people every day. We’ve been operating out of this spot near Po-Natagarh for quite a while now. It’s not a massive factory; it’s more of a local hub where we keep our supplies and manage the daily routes. Most of our mornings are spent checking the inventory and making sure the delivery rickshaws are loaded up properly. It gets pretty loud when the crates are being moved around, but the neighbors are used to us by now. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just supply drinks to the local shops and families who’ve been buying from us for years. There’s a certain rhythm to the work that we’ve grown to enjoy. Sometimes the rain in Bengal makes it tough to get around the narrow lanes, and we end up running behind schedule, but everyone understands how it goes. We don't have a big corporate office or polished floors. Our space is filled with stacks of bottles and a few old chairs where we sit to take a break and have some tea. It’s a straightforward business run by people who live right here in the community. We just keep our heads down and do the work, one crate at a time. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us connected to the neighborhood and the people living here. We like it.
