Our place is out in Village Balaibag, which is part of the Naihati area in the North 24 Parganas district. It is a quiet place compared to the big city, and we like it that way. We have been working from this spot for some time now, mostly focusing on clothes for the little ones. The shop is not anything fancy, just a room with some racks and a table for folding. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who stop by to see what is new. Since we are in a village, word of mouth is how most people find us. We do not have big glowing signs or a lot of staff. It is usually just us making sure the stock is clean and ready. Sometimes the delivery from the post office takes a bit longer than we want, so we just have to wait. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floor. It is a practical way to live and work. We do not try to be something we are not. If you are looking for us, just ask anyone in Balaibag and they can point you toward the shop. It is a small business but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just take it one day at a time.
