Avcon Food Products

You can find us out in the village of Gadigacha. It is under the Swarupganj post office in the Nawadip area. Avcon Food Products isn't a high-tech facility or a big city office. It is a place rooted in the local community here. We handle food products, and a lot of what we do depends on the local cycles of the village and the seasons. The air is a bit fresher out here than in the city, though the roads can get pretty muddy and difficult during the monsoon season. We have a small building where we do all our packing and sorting. Most of the people who work here are from the nearby houses and have been with us for a while. We do not really have official titles or formal meetings. We just show up in the morning and see what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes we are dealing with grains, other times it is different items that need to be weighed and bagged. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which can be nice. We do not have a big sign out front, just a general sense of where everything belongs. We have been part of the Gadigacha landscape for a long time now. It is quiet work, mostly, and we like it that way. We just want to do right by our neighbors.
