Arihant Cables

Arihant Cables is located at 17/6, Krishna Iyer Street in Sowcarpet. If you’ve ever been to Sowcarpet, you know it’s one of the busiest and most crowded parts of the city. The streets are narrow and full of life. Our place at 17/6 is right in the thick of it. It’s a tall building with a lot of stairs, and we’re packed in with many other shops and offices. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long—vendors shouting, bells ringing, and the constant hum of people. Inside Arihant Cables, we have rolls of wire and cable stacked up everywhere. There isn't a lot of extra space. We move around the crates and try to keep a path clear. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve known the neighbors for years and there is a real sense of community on Krishna Iyer Street. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest the door. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the regulars who come by to check on their orders. It’s not a quiet life, but it’s our life here at Arihant Cables. We just keep going, day after day, in the middle of all the Sowcarpet chaos, doing what we can with the space we have.
