Annapurna Rice Product

Annapurna Rice Product is over in Balivara, Nabanagar. We are located right near the Nivedita Sishu Vihar School and the Halisahar Station, so there is a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. You can often hear the school kids playing or the train whistles blowing while we are working inside. We deal with rice products, so there is a lot of heavy lifting involved with moving the sacks around the warehouse. It’s a humid place, especially during the monsoon season, which makes the work feel a bit tougher than usual. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know how to handle the grain and the packing machines. The building is an old one, and it has its quirks, like the door that sticks if you don't pull it just right. We spend most of our time ensuring the rice is sorted and packed into the right bags for the local shops. It’s a messy job sometimes with the dust, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy signs because everyone in Nabanagar knows where the station and the school are, so they find us easily enough. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure we have enough product ready for the morning deliveries. It’s a steady, simple business that keeps us busy from dawn until we close up for the night.
