Agamoni

Agamoni is situated right near the Habra Railway Station. If you are getting off the train, we are just a short walk away. Being in 24 Parganas North, it is always busy around here. The sound of the train whistles and the announcement speakers is something we have gotten used to over the years. It’s a small shop, tucked away between a tea stall and a clothing store. We handle a lot of different things depending on what people are asking for when they stop by. The floor is concrete and we have some old wooden shelves that have seen better days. It gets very crowded during the morning and evening rush when everyone is commuting back and forth. We see a lot of different faces every day. Most people are in a hurry to catch their ride, but some stop to talk about the local news or the weather. We don't have fancy air conditioning or anything like that. Just a couple of ceiling fans that creak a bit when they are on high. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of stock get a bit high and messy. It’s just how it is when space is tight in a busy station area. Habra is a fast place to live and work. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People know they can find us here from early morning until the last train almost. We don't do much advertising. The location right by the tracks does most of the work.
