Rani Eye Hospitals

Main Road in Noorpur is always a bit of a mess with the traffic, and our eye hospital is right in the thick of it. It’s a decent-sized place, but it’s not some corporate chain. It’s just the hospital we’ve run here for years. You can hear the bikes and trucks zooming past all day long. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but not silent. There’s always someone talking or a child crying a bit because they don’t like the eye drops. We deal with cataracts, infections, and just basic eye exams. Most of our patients are from right here in Noorpur or the villages nearby. They come in with dust in their eyes from the fields or just old age catching up with their sight. We’ve got rows of glasses frames on the wall, nothing too expensive, just sturdy stuff that lasts. We keep them in little plastic cases. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy seeing people to worry about that. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s just a local hospital doing its thing on the Main Road. We know the shopkeepers next door and the guy who sells fruit across the street. It’s a community thing. We just focus on getting people’s eyes sorted so they can get back to their lives. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a bit when it gets too crowded.
