YMD Electromac India

Our office is over at E45 in Sector 6. If you know this part of Noida, you know it is mostly factories and small offices. YMD Electromac India has been based here for a while. Sector 6 is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it, with all the similar-looking buildings and narrow lanes. The building we are in is a simple two-story structure. We take up a good portion of the ground floor. It is not a very modern place at all. The walls are painted a dull off-white and we have those old fluorescent lights that flicker a bit when you first turn them on in the morning. There is a small yard in front where we park our scooters and bikes. Inside, it is mostly just workbenches and desks. We do not really have a proper waiting room for guests, so if someone comes by, they usually just sit on one of the extra office chairs near the door. It is a very practical environment for the kind of work we do. We have a lot of tools and parts lying around because that is just how it is. The street outside can get quite muddy when it rains, which is a bit of a pain for everyone. There is a small tea shop at the corner where we all go around 4 o’clock. It is a good chance to stretch our legs and talk. We don’t do much decorating. It’s just a place to get work done every day.
