About Work As Freelancer Fashion Designer – Fashion & Trends in Noida
I work as a freelancer fashion designer out of my place in Sector 25, Noida. The address is N-123. It is not a big studio or a shopfront; it is more of a home office where I have taken over one of the spare rooms. There are sketches pinned to the walls and bits of thread and fabric scraps all over the floor. I have tried to keep it organized, but when I am in the middle of a big project, things just get messy. My sewing machine is usually humming away from early morning until late at night. Noida is a good place to be for this kind of work because I can get to the local fabric markets fairly easily, though the traffic is always a headache. I spend a lot of my time looking at swatches and trying to figure out how a specific drape will fall. It is just me here, though sometimes I have a helper come in if a large order is due soon. I do not have a fancy sign outside or anything like that. Most people just find me through word of mouth or by calling my number. The room gets a lot of sunlight in the morning, which is great for seeing the true colors of the materials I am working with. It is a quiet life for the most part, just me and my designs. I drink a lot of tea and try to stay focused on the patterns I am cutting out.
