If you come down to Sector 10, you will find Vouch Protection Services Pvt.Ltd tucked away where things are a bit quieter than the main roads. We are mostly a group of people who care about making sure things stay where they are supposed to be. The office is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and someone typing on an old keyboard. We spend a lot of our time looking at schedules and talking to the guards about their shifts. It is not the kind of work that gets you on the news, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is so silent you can hear the birds outside. We have a lot of uniforms stacked up in the back room and there is always a box of spare flashlights somewhere. Management is just a few of us sitting around a wooden table trying to figure out the best way to cover the night shifts. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar that is usually a month behind. It’s a regular job for us. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner and try to make sure everyone gets their paycheck on time. It can be stressful when someone calls out sick, but we usually find a way to make it work.
