You can find us at the Hosiery Complex in Phase-II Extension. Our unit is C-134. It’s an interesting area because even though it’s called a hosiery complex, there are all sorts of businesses here now. At Virtuous Publications, our days are filled with the sight of paper and the sound of printers. We have stacks of books and manuscripts everywhere you look. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is, mostly. We spend a lot of time proofreading and checking the layouts before things go to print. It’s quiet work in some ways, but it requires a lot of focus. The building is functional and doesn’t have any decorations to speak of. We just need the space for the machines and the storage. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time finding the exact gate in the extension, so we spend some time giving directions over the phone. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just like seeing a finished book come off the line. It’s a satisfying thing to hold something you’ve worked on. We’ve been here for a bit and have gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. It’s a good place to get real work finished without too many distractions.
