Our office is located in Sector 64, right where all the other commercial buildings are grouped together. We’ve been at this specific spot for several years now. Mostly, the day consists of people coming in with folders and asking about their various paperwork needs. It’s a standard setup with metal desks and a few plastic chairs for waiting in the lobby. The parking outside can be a bit of a headache during the mid-morning rush, but usually, it clears up by the afternoon. We have a small team here who works through the files. Some of us have lived in this part of town our whole lives. We handle the claims and renewals as they come in through the front door. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it needs doing for the folks in the area. The air conditioner hums in the background all day long. We keep a stack of forms on the front counter for anyone to grab. Sometimes the printer jams up, which is annoying, but we always get through it eventually. People from the nearby industrial plots often stop by with questions. We know many of the faces who walk in because they’ve been coming to this specific Sector 64 branch for a long time. It’s just a regular office doing regular things. We open up early and close once the last file is put away. There’s a tea stall around the corner where we go for breaks. It is a simple life.
