Our place is located at Plot No. 3 in Udyog Kendra, right in Greater Noida. Cnh Industrial (India) Pvt. Ltd. is a big name on the official papers, but for those of us on the floor, it’s just where we come to work every morning. The facility is actually pretty large and it stays busy from early on. We deal with heavy industrial equipment and various parts mostly. There is a lot of movement, trucks coming in and out, and the sound of heavy machinery is constant throughout the shift. It’s a major part of the Uttar Pradesh industrial hub, so it feels like everything is always moving and shaking. We have a lot of people working here, all doing different things to keep the gears turning properly. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to the scale of the operations here. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this big, there is always something that needs attention or a machine that needs a quick look from the maintenance crew. We don’t spend much time on talk because there’s just too much to do. Most of the guys have been here a long time and they know the layout of the whole plant by heart. It’s a very practical environment. We focus on the equipment and making sure the parts are handled right before they head out to the customers. It's not a quiet office job, that's for sure.
