Tulsi Parwati Fruits & Vegetable

Every morning starts early for us at Shop No. B 109 in Sector 82. We have to get the crates of fruits and vegetables in before the sun gets too hot. Phase-2 is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of people stopping by on their way to work or after dropping kids at school. We spend a lot of time sorting through the produce, putting the best stuff out front. Our hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the potatoes and onions. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a regular shop with what’s in season. The floor needs sweeping pretty often because of the leaves and bits of dirt. We try to keep things fresh, which means a lot of moving stock around. Sometimes we have a surplus of something like tomatoes, so we try to sell those off quickly. It’s a simple life, talking to the regulars about what they’re cooking for dinner. The air in the shop always smells like greens and ripe fruit. We don't use any big signs or loud music. People just know we are here in the corner of the sector. It’s steady work and we like seeing the same faces every day. There is always a bit of a rush in the evenings when everyone gets home from work and wants to pick something up for their night meal.
