The Purple Nut

The Purple Nut is located on the ground floor of building 346 in Sector 15. It is a straightforward shop where we spend our days organizing the stock and talking to the people who live nearby. Sector 15 is a bit of an older neighborhood, so things have a settled feel to them. Our space is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street without having to climb any stairs. We have shelves lining the walls, and we are always rearranging them to make sure everything fits properly. The lighting inside is plain, and we usually have a radio playing softly in the background to fill the silence. It’s mostly just one or two of us working at a time. We don't have any big signs or bright flashing lights outside. People usually find us because they live in the area or they were walking to the nearby market. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure nothing is sitting on the shelf for too long. The floor is made of simple tiles that we sweep out every evening before closing up. It’s a quiet business for the most part, except for when the delivery trucks arrive and we have to move boxes around. We just keep to our routine and make sure the shop stays open for whoever needs to stop by.
