Our office for Terex Vectra Equipments (P) Ltd is located in Kanpur, right in the Shanti Nagar area of the Cantt. The address is G/3 if you're trying to find it on a map. Kanpur-04 is a busy part of town, but the Cantt area stays a bit more orderly than the rest of the city. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. It’s a simple building, nothing too flashy. We have a few rooms where we keep our files and where the staff does their work. It gets dusty in Kanpur, especially with the wind, so we’re always cleaning the windows and desks. Shanti Nagar is a nice neighborhood. We know the shopkeepers nearby and get our tea from the corner stall most afternoons. It’s a very local way of doing business. We deal with equipment stuff mostly. The day starts early and ends when the work is finished. We don't follow a strict corporate clock, just what needs doing at the time. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup if we really have to. It’s just how things are here. We value being in a place like Kanpur. It has a long history and people here know the value of hard work. We just try to fit into that and keep things moving along without too much fuss.
