Sunpower Automation & Applications is over in Sector-63, specifically at E-162 on the second floor. Sector-63 is pretty packed with all sorts of businesses, so we fit right in. Our space is mostly taken up by workbenches and computers. We spend most of our time dealing with applications and automation stuff, trying to figure out a good way to make things work for different industries. It’s not always easy, and some days are definitely longer than others. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us here, doing the actual work. We've got a small team that’s been together for a while now. We know each other's habits and how we work together. The office is a bit cluttered with parts and papers, but we know where everything is, mostly. It’s a practical environment. When someone calls with a problem, we just get to it. We don’t use a lot of big words to explain things, we just try to show what needs to be done. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and the people we help. The second floor stays a bit quieter than the street level, which is nice when you need to concentrate on a tricky bit of programming or wiring. We’re just regular people trying to do a solid job every day. It’s been this way for years and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand.
