Spice

You can find Spice over in Sharma Mkt, which is part of the big Atta Market in Sector 27. If you’ve ever been to Atta, you know how crazy it gets. There are people everywhere and the noise never really stops. My shop is just one small part of that chaos. We are squeezed in among a lot of other stores selling clothes and shoes. It’s a tight fit inside, and sometimes more than three customers makes it feel packed. I sell a lot of small accessories like earphones and screen guards. People are always in a rush here, so I have to work fast. The market has its own rhythm and you just have to go with it. I’ve seen a lot of other shops come and go, but I’ve managed to stay put in this spot. The rent is high because of the location, so I have to stay open every day. I don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. The shop name is on a simple board outside and that’s it. Some days the heat in the market is almost too much, but the fans keep us going. It’s a tough place to work because of the crowds, but it’s also where all the action is. I like the energy of Sharma Mkt even if it gets exhausting sometimes. You get to meet a lot of different people, even if you only talk to them for a minute while they buy a charger. It’s been here for years and I hope it stays for many more.
