We are set up at D-107-112 in the Phase-Ii Extension. It’s a fairly large space since we need the room for all the pneumatic parts and inventory we keep on hand. Smc Pneumatics (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been at this location for a good while now. The extension area can be a bit tricky to navigate if you aren't used to the layout of the blocks, but once you find the D section, we are right there. The warehouse is usually full of boxes stacked pretty high. We spend a lot of time checking lists and moving crates around with the pallet jack. It’s a lot of physical work, and the floors get scuffed up pretty quick from all the movement. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that writing our stuff. Usually, it's just one of us in the back office handling the orders while the rest of the crew is out on the floor. On rainy days, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think, but you get used to it. We just focus on getting the right parts to the right people without making any mistakes. It’s a steady pace most days. We keep things pretty informal around here; we all just wear our work clothes and get stuck into whatever needs doing in the Phase-Ii Extension units. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do well.
