B P Impex

B P Impex is located at F-22 in Sector-6. It’s an older part of the sector, so the buildings have a bit of character, or at least that’s what we tell ourselves when the elevator acts up. Our office is fairly small, and we have to be careful not to trip over the boxes that sometimes pile up near the entrance. We focus on impex work, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with various agents. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some instant mix that everyone seems to use. We usually have our meetings standing up because there isn't much room for a big table or enough chairs for everyone. The windows look out onto the street, so we see all the daily activity in the sector. It’s a lot of manual data entry and filing, which can be a bit boring, but it has to be done to keep things moving. We try to keep a positive attitude even when things get stressful, like when a shipment gets stuck at the port for no reason. We aren't a big name, just a local outfit trying to manage the flow of goods. Every day is pretty much the same: we come in, check the emails, handle the paperwork, and try to get everything out the door by evening.
