Shri Ambey Coating

Our place is in Sector No. 7, right near the Sector 15 Metro Station. It’s B-30. Being so close to the metro is convenient, but it also means there's a lot of people always walking by. We do coating work here at Shri Ambey Coating. The smell of the chemicals and the paint is something you just get used to after a week. We keep the exhaust fans running all day long. It’s a bit of a hum in the background of everything we do. We work on different metal parts and pieces that need a good finish. Some are small enough to hold in your hand, and others take two people to move. We spend a lot of time prepping the surfaces. If the prep isn't right, the coating won't stick, and then we have to do it all over again. Nobody wants that. We usually have the radio playing in the corner to pass the time. It’s a lot of repetitive movement. My back usually aches by five o'clock. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. Just the door and the work going on inside. Most of our regulars are local workshops who need their stuff finished. We know them all by name. It’s a steady rhythm. The metro rumble is something we don't even notice anymore. It’s just part of being in Sector 7 and getting things done.
