Designer Decor

Our shop, Designer Decor, is located at G-117 in Sector 9. It is a small space, but we have managed to cram a lot into it over the years. We have stacks of fabric books, wallpaper samples, and different wood finishes leaning against the walls. It is usually a bit of a disaster in terms of organization, but we know exactly where everything is. People from the neighborhood drop in to look at colors or ask about fixing up a room in their house. We spend a lot of time measuring things and scratching notes on the back of old envelopes. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, so we often take samples out to the sidewalk to see what they really look like in the sun. Sector 9 is a decent area, but parking right in front of our door is almost impossible most afternoons. We have a couple of old chairs for visitors, though they are usually covered in catalogs. It is just a few of us here trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the glue smells a bit strong when we are working on a display, so we have to leave the door propped open with a brick. We don't do any big marketing or have a polished showroom. It is just a working shop where we help people figure out what looks good in their homes.
