Riviera Kouture

We are up here on the second floor of F-75 in Sector 8. It’s a bit of a climb if the stairs feel long that day, but we've been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us working through the piles of fabric and getting things ready for whoever comes by. It gets busy in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We aren't a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It's mostly just a workspace where things get made. Sometimes the neighbors from the first floor pop in to say hello, but usually, we are just focused on the sewing machines. Sector 8 can be a bit quiet depending on the time of day, but we like it that way because it lets us get the work done without too much noise from the street. If you are looking for us, you just head up the stairs and look for the door marked 75. We started out with just a couple of machines and now we have a bit more space, though it still feels crowded when a new shipment comes in. There’s always thread on the floor and scraps of cloth tucked into corners. I usually bring my own lunch because the cafes around here are a bit of a walk. We have a small kettle in the corner for tea and that’s about it for our kitchen. It’s not always perfectly tidy, but the work gets done.
