V. R. Polymers

V. R. Polymers is over in Sector-63 at C-14. It’s an industrial area so there are always trucks moving around and people loading things. Our unit isn't huge but we have enough space for the machines we use for the polymer work. It gets quite warm inside because of the equipment running all day. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high, just to get a head start on the orders. The floor is concrete and has some stains from the materials we use, but it’s a working shop, not a showroom. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the paperwork. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, so we just wait it out and have a break. The staff has been with us for some time and they know the routine. We don’t really do any big advertising, people just know we are here in Sector-63. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags of raw materials and checking the output. We use a lot of plastic pellets. The noise can be a bit much if you aren't used to it. We keep our tools on a big rack against the wall. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where we try to stay on top of the schedule and make sure the machines are oiled. We drink a lot of water because of the heat. Usually, we finish up around six and head home. It’s been this way for a few years now.
