Our office is up on the terrace floor of Tower A in The Correnthum, over in Sector 62. Being on the terrace floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy to look out the window much. We work on various water-related technologies and equipment. It is a lot of technical talk and looking at blueprints or system designs. Sector 62 is a big hub with lots of tall buildings and people in suits, but our space feels more like a workshop sometimes. We have parts and tools around and we spend time making sure the systems we are putting together actually work the way they are supposed to. It can get a bit hot in the summer being so high up, but we have the fans going. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of people; we are a smaller team that knows how to handle the specific hardware and software we deal with. Most days involve a lot of testing and re-testing. We talk to clients about their water systems and try to solve the glitches that inevitably pop up. It is practical work that requires a lot of patience. We just keep at it until the job is done right. We have a small pantry where we make tea and talk about the weekend. It is a quiet office for the most part, except when we are testing the pumps or other gear. Someone usually has to run out to get supplies from the market downstairs once a day.
