J. M. S. Tech Books

Our place is at A 2 Sector 58 in Noida. It’s absolutely full of books. J.M.S. Tech Books isn't exactly a library, but it feels like one sometimes. We have stacks of technical manuals and thick textbooks everywhere. It’s a lot of paper and the smell is very specific. Noida Sector 58 is pretty organized, but our office can get a bit cluttered with all the boxes. We spend our time packing orders and checking titles against lists. People need these books for their studies or their engineering jobs. We don't have a fancy storefront with glass windows. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we move around a lot. We walk a lot between the high shelves. The air smells like old paper and fresh ink. Sometimes the printer makes too much noise when we are trying to talk. We have been here for a good amount of time. Customers usually call or send a message first to see if we have something in stock. We just find the book and get it ready for them to pick up or for shipping. It’s quiet work for the most part, which we like. In the mornings, we sort the new arrivals that come in by the pallet. The delivery guys know us well because they are here every day. Sector 58 has some decent spots for a quick bite or a tea break. We usually take turns going for lunch so someone is always here to answer the phone. It’s a simple operation. We aren't trying to be the biggest bookstore, just trying to keep the books moving.
