Noida School Of Rock

Our place is at A-117-C in Sector- 35, right near Prakash Hospital. You can't miss it if you are in that area. We teach music here, mostly guitar and drums. It is a pretty loud place most afternoons, which is the opposite of the hospital nearby. We have a few rooms set up for lessons. They aren't perfectly soundproofed, but they do the job. The walls have some posters on them and there are instruments leaning in every corner. It is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the cables and amps lying around. We started this because we liked playing and wanted a place to do it. Now we have kids and adults coming in all day. It is not a very formal school. We just sit down and play together. There is always someone practicing something in the back. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but we try to keep it down in the evenings after eight. We have a small area where parents can sit and wait, but it is nothing fancy, just a few plastic chairs and an old table with some magazines. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know how to play. We spend a lot of time tuning instruments and showing people where to put their fingers on the frets. It is a good way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit chaotic with all the different sounds coming from the rooms.
