Plata Impex

We’ve been at D- 73 in Sector- 26 for quite a while now. Most days here start pretty early. You can find someone at the desk by eight or nine usually. It’s a busy part of the sector, lots of vehicles moving around and people heading to work. We handle the usual import and export stuff, keeping track of papers and making sure things move when they are supposed to. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the birds outside. The office itself is just a regular workspace with some desks and too many files stacked up in the corners. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-tech, just doing the work that needs doing. Sometimes there’s a bit of confusion with deliveries because the street looks like every other one nearby, but we manage to get it sorted. There’s a tea stall not too far away that we visit when things get stressful. It’s just how things go here at Plata Impex. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most of the staff has been around long enough to know where everything is kept without even looking. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have the fans going. It isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure the shipments go out. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the room.
