Lil'Bumchums

The name usually makes people smile when they first hear it. We are located at L-260 in Sector-25. It’s a decent-sized space, but it’s always overflowing with stuff. When you’re dealing with things for kids and babies, you end up with boxes everywhere. We try to keep the shelves organized, but by Tuesday afternoon, it usually looks like a whirlwind went through. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. It’s just us, and we usually have some music playing in the background to keep things lively. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see a lot of the same faces coming in. We spend a lot of time unpacking new arrivals and checking for loose threads or missing buttons. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. The lighting in the shop isn't perfect, and the front door squeaks a bit when it’s humid, but it feels like home to us. We don't have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the parents who walk in find what they need without too much fuss. Sometimes we spend more time chatting about the weather or the local schools than we do about the products. It’s that kind of place. We’ve been in Sector-25 for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the quiet streets and the local pace. It’s a simple setup we have going here.
