Being over here at No. 11 D-block Market Sector 21 D-block Market means we see a lot of foot traffic. Fashion Fiesta has been in this spot for some years. It's a typical market shop. We’ve got piles of clothes everywhere because there never seems to be enough shelf space. Dealing with the heat in the afternoons is the toughest part, even with the fans going full blast. We mostly deal with casual wear, stuff that’s easy to wash and wear for work or just being at home. We pick things out ourselves from the suppliers, trying to find colors that look good. Sometimes we end up with too much of one thing and not enough of another, but that’s just how it goes. The shop floor is a bit uneven near the entrance, so watch your step when you walk in. My cousin helps out on the weekends when it gets really packed. We try to keep the mirrors clean, though fingerprints always show up. It’s a basic setup. We don't have fancy displays, just racks and hangers. People like that they can just browse without someone breathing down their neck. If you need a different size, you might have to wait a minute while we dig through the boxes in the back. It’s busy, it’s loud sometimes with the market noise outside, but it’s our daily life here. We just take it one day at a time.
