Ascent Decals

Ascent Decals is on the second floor of C-63 in Sector 2. It’s an office space where we do all our printing and cutting. We have a couple of machines that run for most of the day. It gets a bit noisy in here when everything is going at once. We make stickers and decals for different uses. Some are for cars and others are for businesses. We started this because we liked working with designs. It’s not a huge operation. Just a few of us sitting at desks and managing the printers. We spend a lot of time checking the colors and making sure the edges are cut right. Sometimes the vinyl gets jammed and we have to waste a bit of material, which is frustrating. We don't have a storefront on the ground floor, so people usually call us or come up the stairs. The building is a bit old but it works for us. We handle a lot of small orders for local people. We don't do big television ads. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us. We just try to get the orders done on time. If there is a mistake, we fix it. It's a straightforward way to run a shop. We stay busy with the machines and the computer work throughout the week.
