Exide Sales Service is located at G-25 in Savitri Market over in Sector-18. Being in a market like Savitri means there is always something going on. We handle batteries and the service that goes along with them. Our shop is packed with different sizes of batteries for cars and other uses. It’s not the cleanest job because you’re dealing with heavy items and terminals all day. We have a small counter where we talk to people who come in with battery trouble. Most of the time we’re out on the floor testing things or charging units up. Sector-18 is a busy part of town so there is no shortage of noise from the street. We’ve been in this particular spot for a while now and we know the other shopkeepers in the market. We don't have a lot of space for sitting around. Usually, there are batteries waiting to be picked up or delivered. We keep a record of the sales in a big book on the desk. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and start checking the inventory. If a battery is dead, we try to see why. It’s just the work we do in a busy market. We don’t use any complicated systems, just the tools we’ve had for years to get it done properly.
