We have three floors here at Plot No. 17 in Block- N, right in the middle of Sector- 18. Aegon Religare Life Insurance Company Ltd. takes up the first, second, and third floors, so there is a lot of walking up and down the stairs when the elevator is being slow. Sector 18 is always a madhouse with cars and people shopping, so finding a place to park in the morning is a real struggle for everyone. Inside, it is mostly rows of desks and people talking on headsets or meeting with folks to go over their policy papers. We have a lot of filing cabinets that are bursting with folders, and the fluorescent lights stay on all day. It feels like a typical office where the air conditioning is either too cold or not working quite right. We keep a stash of biscuits in the breakroom for when meetings go long. The view from the third floor is just the tops of other buildings and the busy street below. Sometimes people come in confused about their forms, and we just sit down and go through the lines one by one until it makes sense. It is a lot of reading and signing names on dotted lines. We have a water cooler that makes a loud bubbling noise every ten minutes, which is basically the soundtrack to our workday here in Noida. There are always people coming and going from the different floors.
