You can find us at B - 29 & 30 in Sector - 10. Having two units right next to each other helps when things get hectic, though it still feels crowded sometimes. The street outside is usually lined with trucks waiting to pick up boxes. Kushmanda Overseas has been operating out of this space for quite some time now. Inside, the sound of packing tape being pulled is probably the most common thing you’ll hear. It’s a sharp, screeching noise that stays in your ears after a long shift. We have a small office tucked into the corner of B - 29 where all the paperwork happens. It’s usually piled high with folders and receipts. We aren't really the type for fancy meetings; most of our discussions happen while standing on the warehouse floor or leaning against a stack of pallets. The lighting isn't the best, just those long tube lights that hum a little bit. In the winter, it gets quite chilly because of the high ceilings, so we all wear heavy sweaters and drink a lot of hot tea. We know the other business owners on the block, and we all kind of look out for each other's deliveries. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to polish our image. We just focus on making sure the orders are ready and the labels are on straight before the drivers show up.
