Our office is down in the basement at G-109 in Sector 63. It’s not the most glamorous spot, being underground and all, but it serves us well for Samraj Interiors. We spend most of our time out at different apartments or offices, so the basement is mainly for storing samples, tools, and doing some of the planning. You’ll see piles of wood, cans of paint, and rolls of wallpaper tucked into the corners. It can get a bit dusty when we’re testing out a new piece of furniture or cutting some trim. Sector 63 is a busy place, and parking can be a real headache around here, which is why we usually try to get our vans loaded early in the morning. When we are actually in the office, it’s usually to talk about a design or figure out the budget for a new kitchen or living room. We don't have a fancy showroom with perfect lighting. If you want to see what we do, you usually have to look at photos on a phone or come see a site we are currently working on. It’s a small team, just a few designers and some skilled laborers who know how to handle a hammer and a drill. We just focus on the work at hand and try to make sure the walls are straight and the paint is even. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes but we know where everything is.
