S. S. S. Tapes Industries

We are based over in Sector-5, specifically at B-90. It's an industrial area so it gets pretty noisy with all the trucks moving around at all hours. We make different kinds of tapes here. It's not the most exciting business but everyone needs tape for something, right? The machines run most of the day and it gets quite warm inside during the summer months. We started out small and just kept adding a few more rolls and cutters as we went along over the years. Our space isn't huge but we make it work for us. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so they just walk or bike in. We don't have a big front office or anyone to answer phones all day. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. We handle a lot of packing tape and some of the specialized stuff too. The floor is always a bit sticky from the adhesive, no matter how much we sweep it. That’s just how it goes with this kind of work, you can't really avoid it. Sometimes customers come by to pick up their orders directly to save on the delivery costs. We prefer that anyway because it's easier to just hand it over and say hello. We’ve been in this sector for a good bit now and know the neighbors pretty well. It's a decent place to work.
