Reliance Infrastructure Limited here in Shahjahanpur is located at the Bareilly Turn. We are at 16/D South City. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re coming from the main road. The office is a bit of a hub for our local operations in this part of U.P. We handle things like power distribution and keeping an eye on the local lines. It’s a lot of dusty paperwork and phone calls to the maintenance crews. The summers here are tough, and our old AC struggles to keep the room cool, but we manage. We aren’t some big corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and get our tasks done. Sometimes the locals drop by to talk about their electricity or a pole that’s leaning over. We listen and try to get someone out there to look at it. There is a small tea shop nearby where we all go for breaks. It’s a good place to hear the local gossip. We’ve been at this location for a while, so the neighbors know us. The work isn't always exciting, but it’s necessary for the town. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing day by day. It’s a steady pace of life and we’ve grown quite fond of the routine we have here. We don't worry about big fancy meetings, just the daily work.
