Referral Hospital

This hospital is located right by the CISF Camp in Surajpur, specifically in the Lakhnawali area. Because of where we are, we see a lot of different people coming through the gates every day. It’s a fairly large building compared to the small shops around us, and it can get quite busy in the mornings when the outpatient department opens up. We handle a lot of different cases here, not just one thing. People come from all over Lakhnawali when they are feeling under the weather or have something more serious going on. The halls can be a bit noisy with people talking and children running around, but that is just how a busy hospital is. We have a dedicated staff of nurses and helpers who keep the place moving, though sometimes it feels like there is never enough time in the day. The location near the camp makes it easy for everyone to find us. It’s not a luxury facility, but we have the equipment we need to take care of the basic health needs of the community. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and talking to families about their relatives. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been here in Surajpur for a while now and we know the routine. We just try to keep things organized and help as many people as we can before the shift ends and a new group takes over.
