Prits Leather Arts Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Sector 65, at plot C-40. This is an industrial area, so it’s more about production than anything else. When you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the smell of leather. It’s everywhere. We spend our days working with hides, cutting them, and turning them into different products. It’s messy work sometimes, and there’s always dust or scraps on the floor by the end of the shift. We’ve been in this sector for a while and know the rhythms of the street. The machines can be quite loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other. We aren't a fancy design studio; we’re a workshop. There are rolls of leather stacked up in the corners and tools scattered across the workbenches. We don’t have a marketing team or a polished showroom. Most of our work is for other businesses that need leather goods made. Sometimes we have to deal with delays in getting the right materials, which can be frustrating, but we manage. It’s a tough, hands-on job, and our hands usually have a few stains or scratches from the tools. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the leather is handled properly. It’s a straightforward way to make a living here in Sector 65, even if it means we go home covered in dust and tired every night.
