Prits Leather Art

If you come down to Sector-10, you will find us at C-176. That is where Prits Leather Art is based. We have been working with leather for a long time. The smell of the hides is the first thing you notice when you walk through the door. Some people find it a bit strong, but we are used to it by now. We make various leather goods like bags and wallets. It is mostly handwork, so it takes a lot of time. We have some old sewing machines that make a lot of noise but they still work much better than the new ones we tried once. There are about four of us working here most days. The space is a bit cramped because leather rolls take up a lot of room. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door that you might miss if you aren't looking. Most of our customers are other businesses that want us to make stuff for them. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or ads. We just show people the actual leather and let them feel it for themselves. Sector-10 is a decent area for a workshop like ours. It is quiet enough to get the work done without distractions. We drink a lot of tea while we cut and stitch. It is a slow process but we like doing it this way. It feels more real than things made in a huge factory.
