Prime Cuts

If you go down to Indra Market in Sector 27, you’ll find us at G 2. It’s a small shop, honestly. We’ve been set up here for a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of chopping and people talking over each other. The market gets really packed, especially on Sundays. We try to keep the meat fresh and the prices fair for the folks living around here. It’s not a shiny place with bright lights and uniforms. We just wear our aprons and get to work. Sometimes the floor is a bit wet from cleaning, and the noise from the street outside never really stops. We know most of the regulars by their first names or at least what they usually order. Someone might want a specific cut for a curry, and we do our best to get it right. It’s a lot of manual work. My hands are usually tired by the end of the shift. We don’t really do fancy advertising or social media posts. People just know where we are because they’ve been coming here for years. If the shop is full, you might have to wait a few minutes on the sidewalk. It's just how it goes in a busy market like this one. We keep the counters wiped down and the knives sharp.
