Our place, Prakash Labels Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in C Block of Sector 7. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near Vasundra. The building is C-44. It’s a noisy place most of the time because the printing presses are almost always running. You can smell the ink and the paper the moment you step through the door. It’s a smell you get used to after a week or two. We do all sorts of labels here. Some are small and sticky, others are big and colorful. Most of the crew here has been working the machines for a long time. We have a couple of old guys who can fix a jam just by listening to the sound the gears make. It’s pretty impressive to watch. The office part is just a few desks squeezed into the front corner. We handle the paperwork there while the real work happens in the back. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer, especially near the drying racks. We just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don’t really do much fancy advertising. Most people find us because they need something printed and heard we do a decent job. We try to keep things organized but with all the rolls of paper and stacks of finished labels, it gets a bit cluttered. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily orders and the deadlines that come with them.
