Our workshop is situated at D 54 on the first floor. If you walk up the stairs, you’ll hear the sewing machines running almost all day long. We have a small team of tailors who sit there working on different batches of clothes. It gets quite warm in there during the summer months because of all the machines and the fabric rolls piled up. We mostly handle bulk orders for shirts and other garments, so there are always stacks of cut cloth waiting to be stitched. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. The floors are often covered in thread and scraps of fabric that we sweep up at the end of the day. We’ve been in this building for a few years now. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which slows everything down. We try to keep a steady pace, but sometimes a deadline is tight and everyone has to work a bit faster. We get our fabric from various markets nearby. It’s a lot of manual work, checking every seam and button. We don't use many automated machines here; it's mostly just people behind their desks focusing on the task at hand. You might find us drinking chai near the window during our afternoon break. It’s a simple business, just making clothes day in and day out. We don’t really do much advertising; people just know where we are and bring us their work.
